As TZM alloy has excellent high-temperature strength and creeps resistance, it is used to produce the mandrel head of a seamless steel pipe piercing machine, which is often referred to as a molybdenum mandrel. The molybdenum mandrel is made by adding rare earth materials to molybdenum powder through mixing, shape processing, and high-temperature sintering, the density of which is ≥9.4g/cm3.
Molybdenum Mandrel is used in the seamless tube of stainless steel, alloy steel, the heat-resisting superalloy, etc.
The density is more than 9.7/cm3 (the molybdenum alloy mandrel's density is more than 9.2g/cm3)
Chemical ingredients: Molybdenum as matrix, prepare according to Ti: (1.0-2.0)%, Zr: (0.1-0.5)% and C: (0.1-0.5)%.
Our molybdenum mandrel is wrapped in foam and packaged in plywood cases to ensure safe storage and transportation.
