Lithium Aluminum Titanium Phosphate Sputtering Target Description

Lithium Aluminum Titanium Phosphate Sputtering Target is a white sputtering material containing the element Li, Al, Ta and P.

Lithium is a chemical element originated from the Greek ‘lithos’ meaning stone. It was first mentioned in 1817 and observed by A. Arfwedson. The isolation was later accomplished and announced by W. T. Brande. “Li” is the canonical chemical symbol of lithium. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 3 with location at Period 2 and Group 1, belonging to the s-block. The relative atomic mass of lithium is 6.941(2) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.

Aluminum, or Aluminium, is a silvery-white, soft, non-magnetic and ductile metal in the boron group. By mass, aluminum makes up about 8% of the Earth’s crust; it is the third most abundant element after oxygen and silicon and the most abundant metal in the crust, though it is less common in the mantle below. The chief ore of aluminum is bauxite. Aluminum metal is highly reactive, such that native specimens are rare and limited to extreme reducing environments. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals.

Titanium is a Group IV transition metal that has enjoyed great interest as one of the most important biocompatible metals, thanks to a suite of suitable biological and biomechanical properties. It is a lustrous transition metal with a silver color, low density, and high strength. Titanium is resistant to corrosion in seawater, aqua regia, and chlorine.cIts strong, lightweight characteristics and excellent corrosion resistance make it ideal for ocean liner hulls, aircraft engines, and designer jewelry.

Phosphorus is a chemical element originated from the Greek ‘phosphoros’, meaning bringer of light. It was first mentioned in 1669 and observed by H. Brand. The isolation was later accomplished and announced by H. Brand. “P” is the canonical chemical symbol of phosphorus. Its atomic number in the periodic table of elements is 15 with location at Period 3 and Group 15, belonging to the p-block. The relative atomic mass of phosphorus is 30.973762(2) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.
