Type N Thermocouple Wire Description
NiCrSi-NiSiMg thermocouple wire is the latest metal thermocouple developed to improve the drawbacks that type K thermocouple has. The Type N shares the same accuracy and temperature limits as the Type K. type N are slightly more expensive. Type N has better repeatability between 572F to 932F (300 °C to 500 °C) compared to type K.
