Nimonic 80A Plate/Sheet Description
Nimonic 80A is a Nickel-Chromium alloy that is precipitation hardenable. It is very similar to alloy 75 but with additions of aluminum and titanium. Nimonic 80A shows good corrosive resistance, oxidation resistance, high tension, and good creep-rupture properties up to 815℃. It is commonly produced by high-frequency melting and casting in air. Vacuum refined version Nimonic 80A Plate/Sheet is also available.

Nimonic 80A Plate/Sheet Applications
Nimonic 80A Plate/Sheet is commonly used in gas turbine components such as turbine blades, combustors, and exhaust nozzles due to its high-temperature strength and good corrosion resistance. It is also used in rocket motor castings for the aerospace industry. The excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance make it an ideal choice in chemical processing such as reactor vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
