Metal Injection Molding Feedstock 420 (MIM) Description
Metal Injection Molding Feedstock 420 (MIM) is a combination of high strength, hardness, and wear resistance with moderate corrosion resistance. This material is magnetic and typically has less distortion with vacuum heat treatment over oil quenching.
Metal Injection Molding (MIM) means using metal powder as raw material, adding composite particles of polymer materials in the mixing and refining process, and using the "forming + sintering" method to manufacture materials and product powders materials, so as to be applied to precision structural parts. MIM can realize the integrated manufacturing of parts of different materials. It has the characteristics of wide material adaptability, a high degree of automation, and a high degree of batch production.
