IR Filters Description

IR Filters include Broad Band Pass Infrared Filters and Narrow Band Pass IR Filters. These filters are made from various IR substrates such as silicon, sapphire, IR Quartz, germanium, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, etc. processed to the form of thin films that have differing refractive indices and thicknesses. The filters perform high efficiency while isolating emission lines from a source or fluorescent from the background, or laser lines to maximize the signal relative to noise ratio.
