Industrial Single-walled Carbon Nanotubes Description
There are three main types of Industrial Single-walled Carbon Nanotubes: TNIS, TNISH and TNISC. TNIS is prepared by first catalytically cracking methane through a cobalt catalyst, and then oxidizing in the air to remove activated carbon. TNISH and TNISC are the hydroxylated and carboxylated derivatives of TNS, respectively. They are prepared by KMnO4 oxidation in H2SO4 solutions of different temperatures and different concentrations.
