Our PTFE stir bars are ideal for applications that requires excellent corrosion resistance and thermal stability. Friction coefficient of PTFE coated stir bars are very low, between 0.05 and 0.09. PTFE is one of the most thermally stable plastic materials and there is no appreciable decomposition at 260°C.
