Platinum Iridium Marker Band (Pt/10 Ir) Description

Platinum Iridium Marker Band (Pt/10 Ir) is used in the medical device industry, including minimally invasive surgery. It is suitable for radiopaque markers during angioplasty and other minimally invasive catheter procedures. Platinum-iridium alloy is one of the alloys with the most stable chemical, mechanical, and electrical properties. It features high strength, high elasticity, low contact resistance, and good biocompatibility and is an ideal material for implantation and interventional surgery. Marker bands are a kind of marking ring used as X-ray development marks in the distal working areas in interventional therapy, which belong to disposable medical materials.

SAM can currently manufacture marker bands with OD ranging from a minimum of 0.2 mm to a maximum of 8.0 mm. The accuracy and OD sizes can be customized to meet customer requirements.

Boron Nitride Ceramic BNSIO FAQs

Q1: What is Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO)?

Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO) is a high-performance ceramic material composed of boron nitride (BN) with additional components to enhance its properties, such as increased thermal conductivity, mechanical strength, and electrical insulation. It is available in different forms, including hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN), cubic boron nitride (c-BN), and other variations, depending on the specific application.

Q2: What are the key properties of Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO)?

High Temperature Stability: Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO) is highly stable under high-temperature conditions, typically capable of withstanding temperatures of over 1000°C without degradation.

Electrical Insulation: Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO)provides excellent electrical insulating properties, making it ideal for use in electronic and electrical applications.

Thermal Conductivity: Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO) has good thermal conductivity, allowing for efficient heat dissipation in devices and components.

Chemical Inertness: Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO) is chemically stable, resistant to oxidation, and doesn't react with most chemicals, even in harsh environments.

Q3: What is the maximum operating temperature of Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO)?

Boron Nitride Ceramic (BNSIO) can generally withstand temperatures up to 1000°C to 1300°C (1832°F to 2372°F), depending on the specific grade and composition. Its ability to maintain stability at these high temperatures makes it ideal for high-temperature environments like furnaces, reactors, and aerospace components.
