Description of Silicon Germanium Alloy Lump

Silicon germanium is an infinite solid solution of insoluble solids formed by both germanium and silicon. It can be expressed as SixGe1-x according to the molar ratio of silicon to germanium. Often used as a semiconductor material for integrated circuits, it can be inserted into the strain-inducing layer of a CMOS transistor.
