Triethoxyvinylsilane Description
Triethoxyvinylsilane is a vinyl-functional silane that may be used to improve the bond between glass fiber or mineral fillers and resins that are reactive towards the vinyl group. It is also employed to functionalize resins via free radical mechanisms-copolymerization or grafting and to modify surfaces.
Synonyms: VTEO, Vinyltriethoxysilane, Trietoxyvinylsilane, DYNASYLAN VTEO, Ethenyltriethyloxy-silane, Silane Coupling Agent A-151, ethenyl(triethoxy)silane

Triethoxyvinylsilane Applications
Vinyltriethoxysilane (CAS No. 78-08-0), silane coupling agent, is an important additive for many applications, such as emulsion polymerization, silane crosslink polymers, adhesives, sealants and hot melt, etc.
It also can be used to improve the affinity of glass fiber, inorganic fillers and resin to react with vinyl in cable and pipe of silane crosslinked polyethylene.
With the function of both coupling agent and crosslinking agent, its suitable polymers include polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, etc. It can be copolymerized with acrylic paint to make special external coating. It can be used as the adhesion promoter for silicone rubber, metal and textile.
