Aluminum Oxynitride Transparent Ceramic Description
Aluminum oxynitride transparent ceramic has a transmittance high than 80% without coating. The hardness of aluminum oxynitride is 4 times that of quartz glass, 85% of sapphire, and can withstand high temperatures of 1200 degrees Celsius. Transparent ceramic refers to a polycrystalline material with a certain light transmittance prepared by the ceramic process, also known as optical ceramic. Compared with glass or resin optical materials, aluminum oxynitride transparent ceramics are stronger, harder, more resistant to corrosion, and more resistant to high temperatures. They can be used in extremely harsh conditions.
