Description of Anode Basket
The anode basket is light in weight, corrosion-resistant and has a layer of oxide film on the surface. Under normal plating conditions, the oxide film can prevent the current from passing through the anode basket and direct current to the anode material in the anode basket.
The electroplated anode basket has the following characteristics:
- The shape is stable, the current distribution is uniform, and the plating uniformity is maintained.
- Good anodic solubility, resulting in less anode mud
- It is convenient to load or replenish the anode material. Anode maintenance is also relatively simple
- Made of high-quality substrate material, long anode life, and high current density.

Sizing

Baskets should be 2" to 4" shorter than the longest piece of work. Baskets should be 1" above the solution level. Hook length is measured from the top of the anode bar to 1" above the solution level.
