1700C Bench-Top Muffle Furnace KSL-1700X-A1 is a high-temperature box furnace that uses silicon molybdenum rods as heating elements. It features a dual-layer shell structure, PID program temperature control, B-type thermocouple, and a furnace chamber made of high-purity alumina fiber material. The maximum temperature can reach 1700 degrees, with a continuous operating temperature of 1600 degrees and a temperature control accuracy of ±1 degree.

Application Notes

  • Warning: MoSi2 heating element is used in the high temperature under the oxidizing atmosphere. It will form the SiO2 film which can keep the element from being melted. During the oxidizing process, the SiO2-protecting film is formed again when the element continues to be used. The MoSi2 heating element must not be used at a temperature between 400 ℃ and 700 ℃ for a long time, otherwise, the element will be cremated under the strong oxidizing function at the low temperature.
