1100C Compact Hybrid Furnace KSL-1100X-S-H is a compact hybrid furnace featuring a 4"x4"x4" heating chamber and a 1-2" insertable quartz tube with a flange. This furnace is well-suited for the preparation of small samples up to 1000℃, offering the flexibility to operate under a vacuum or a controlled atmosphere while maximizing energy efficiency (power consumption of only 500 - 700W). Moreover, this space-efficient furnace can be conveniently placed inside a glove box for sintering samples.

Application Notes

  • With its small footprint, low weight, and low power requirement, it can be easily accommodated in a glove box and threat samples under protective gas.
  • For high vacuum application (<1e-5 torr), please choose a quartz tube with CF flange.

Warning

  • Toxic or explosive gases are not recommended for use with this furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision. Please put the furnace into the fume hood for better safety.
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
