Sodium Peroxide (CAS: 1313-60-6) is an inorganic substance with a chemical formula of Na2O2 and a molecular weight of 77.98. Sodium Peroxide is soluble in cold water, decomposes in hot water, and decomposes in ethanol or ammonia, soluble in dilute acid, but insoluble in alkali solution. It quickly absorbs moisture and carbon dioxide when exposed to the air. This product will cause combustion or explosion when it comes in contact with organic matter, so it should be kept tightly closed.
