Description of Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (YAG) Phosphor Powder

Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (YAG) LED Phosphor is a phosphor, or a scintillator when in pure single-crystal form, with a wide range of uses. It emits yellow light when subjected to blue or ultraviolet light or to x-rays. YAG phosphor is very stable due to its unique crystal structure and its straightforward synthetic route. It can be effectively excited by a 450nm blue LED chip with an emission peak wavelength in the 530-560nm range.

Our LED phosphors can help LCD manufacturers produce displays with high color gamut, giving the screen unprecedented color realism and providing materials that match high-performance color filters. This LED phosphor material range offers outstanding stability and efficiency. This series of phosphors can be used in red LED packages or in combination with other red or yellow phosphors to package warm white or special light LEDs.
