Pentafluoroiodoethane (CAS: 354-64-3) is the initial telomerization agent mainly used in the production of water-repellent, oil-repellent, and surfactant. It is also a raw material for a variety of synthetic resin monomers or fluorosiloxanes. It can also be used to produce fluorine-containing pharmaceutical intermediates, and other fluorine-containing fine chemicals.
