Peek Rod (30% Carbon filled) Description
PEEK Rods are made of a 30 percent carbon-filled PEEK substance. The structure of the carbon fiber gives the PEEK material a high degree of rigidity and resistance to creep. Carbon fiber reinforced PEEK rods show very high mechanical strength values though having a lower density than the one of the 30 percent Glass fiber reinforced PEEK. In comparison, carbon fiber composites tend to be less abrasive than glass fibers, thus enhancing wear and tear properties simultaneously.
