Metal Wire Mesh Demister is a horizontally mounted layer of densely spaced, wire-woven material that is used to separate liquid impurities from the gas. The demister functions by trapping entrained droplets in the vapor stream with a significant amount of particulate matter. The liquid impurities are eliminated when the gaseous vapor moves vertically through the separating layer. It is widely used in heavy-duty, high-loading, and high-corrosive applications in petrochemical and other industries.
