Lanthanum Nickel Alloy Particles (LaNi5) Description
Lanthanum Nickel Alloy Particle (LaNi5) is a hexagonal intermetallic compound composed of the rare earth element Lanthanum and transition metal nickel. It presents a calcium-cu-cu-five (CaCu5) type crystal structure and is a compound with the same melting composition, which has the capacity for hydrogen storage. It can be used as a catalyst for the synthesis of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) by chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
