Barium fluoride (BaF2) is a salt that can be transparent in the form of solid crystals. As its excellent transmission from 200nm - 12μm and resistance to high-energy radiation, barium fluoride is often used as an optical component.
|Loss on Ignition||0.05|
Barium Fluoride (BaF2) can be used in a variety of applications, mostly as a material to make optical components, such as:
- windows for infrared spectroscopy
- the detection of X-rays, gamma rays, or other high energy particles
- preopacifying agent and in enamel and glazing frits production
1KG/25KG, or as required by the customer.
Our Barium Fluoride Powder is clearly tagged and labeled externally to ensure efficient identification and quality control. Great care is taken to avoid any damage which might be caused during storage or transportation.
