Titanium Boride Powder Description

Titanium diboride powder is a gray or black powder with a hexagonal structure and tasteless. TiB2 has excellent thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and electrical conductivity. Our TiB2 is produced by a high-temperature reaction of more than 2000 degrees Celsius. It has perfect crystallization, low carbon content, and high purity.
• The density of hot-pressed titanium boride ceramics is ≥4.45g/cm3
• Chemically inert in hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid

Titanium Boride Powder Typical Applications

Due to its high hardness, extreme melting point, and chemical inertness, TiB2 is a candidate for a number of applications.

• Production of ceramic targets
• Production of hot-pressed titanium diboride armor
• Used to make hot-pressed ceramics with good thermal conductivity, such as evaporation boat
• Used as a cutting tool
• As an anti-wear material
• Used as titanium diboride cermet material
• Used as a composite material, such as atmospheric plasma spray composite powder
• Used as an industrial aluminum electrolytic cell cathode coating material
