Description of Monel 400 Wire
Monel 400 is a ductile nickel-copper alloy that is hardened by cold working.
This alloy shows properties such as good corrosion resistance, good weldability, and high strength. It also has excellent mechanical properties at subzero temperatures and can be used in up to 538°C. It is particularly resistant to hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when they are de-aerated.
Monel 400 has a low corrosion rate in flowing seawater, which makes it is widely used in marine applications.
