Platinum Crucible & Mold Description:
Our Platinum Crucibles and Molds are manufactured using a 5% Au-Pt alloy, combining the strength and durability of platinum with the added benefits of gold. This 5% Au-Pt alloy is particularly well-suited for sample preparation prior to XRF analysis, as its “non-wetting” property significantly enhances the ease of bead sample removal after fusion, ensuring clean and accurate results. These crucibles and molds are engineered to withstand the rigors of repeated high-temperature use, making them an ideal choice for laboratories and industrial settings where precision and reliability are paramount.
